PROJECT T
KEEL LAYING
CEREMONY
Cantiere delle Marche is delighted to share with you that the keel laying ceremony of Project T - 45-metre fully custom explorer yacht - took place on March 29th at the yard’s facility in Ancona.
On March 29th, Cantiere delle Marche marked a milestone in the construction of the 45-metre
custom explorer yacht Project T at a keel laying ceremony. The enthusiast Owner welded a small
steel plate to the keel symbolising the full start of production of his yacht and witnessing
that the keel was ‘well and truly laid’.
“It is always exciting kicking off a new project, there is no doubt about it, but when said project
starts with such an enthusiast and highly qualified team (namely Hydro Tec and Giorgio Cassetta)
and such a passionate Owner who likes to b involved all along the process... well, this reminds me
why I’ve chosen to star this venture with Ennio Cecchini and why I love so much what I do!” says
Vasco Buonpensiere, co-founder and Sales & Marketing Director of CDM. “We are really grateful
to the Owner and his family for this amazing opportunity. Project T will be - once again - a
testament to CDM’s ability to fulfill its clients’ dreams.”
After a thorough investigation, Project T’s discerning Owner decided to have his one-of-a-kind
project built on his design and specifications by the Ancona-based shipyard. The contract was
signed in the last quarter of 2021. Italian designer Giorgio M. Cassetta was entrusted to pen the
striking lines of this 45-metre explorer yacht characterised by an elegant sheer line that connects
an almost vertical bow to an inviting transom with an ample beach area. An experienced yachtsman
with a passion for long cruising, the Owner appreciates CDM’s pioneering and proactive approach
that makes this shipyard the right port of call for a project like Project T that will be a trail
blazer in its own right.
Large windows on both the Main and Upper deck provide a close connection
with the exterior environment. Great attention has been dedicated to life en plein air with large al
fresco lounging and dining areas, and wide side passages. The yacht will host eight guests in four
large suites located on the Lower deck. The Owners have reserved for themselves the forward section
of the Main deck where a full beam apartment with his and her bathrooms, dressing and adjoining
lounging area provide them with an area to relax in total privacy.
Smart naval architecture and engineering solutions by Sergio Cutolo/Hydro Tec will make the
most out of Project T’s full displacement hull. Powered by twin Man engines V12-1400, with a top
speed of 14.5 knots, a range above 4000nm Project T will be a beautiful and highly efficient
explorer yacht.
