NAUTA AIR 108'
SOLD!
“Just a few months back, we announced our collaboration with IYC and today we are glad to
share the news of the successful sale of a Nauta 108, realized with our esteemed partners.
Our clientele consists of experienced yachtsmen with a clear idea of how they envision their new
yacht and who have precise navigation plans. The Owner of the new Nauta 108 belongs to this
category of discerning and exacting yachtsmen. Throughout the years, we have acquired an
expertise in the construction of explorer yachts that is second to none. Our ability to customize our
models transforms each yacht into a unique project which retains the core concept and key technical
features of the reference range. This is the case of the Nauta Air 108, the sixth in the Nauta Air
series, we recently sold in collaboration with Michel Chryssicopoulos, Global Managing Partner at IYC”
Vasco Buonpensiere,
co-founder and CEO
This Nauta 108 is an evolved model within the Nauta Air series, featuring subtle enhancements and modernized exterior lines for a truly captivating and contemporary appearance. Among the main differences with the previous Nauta 108, the fashion plates are visually integrated with the dark windows that run along the Main deck salon and a 6m tender with its crane are located on the main deck forward.
Her interiors are bright and airy, and the generous hull volume allows for spacious lodging for the Owners and their guests. Accommodation is split between the Main deck master and four spacious cabins below decks, but guests are likely to spend most of their time either in the cockpit, with its uninterrupted views aft, or on the sprawling Sun deck. Night quarters for 5 crew members are on the Lower deck and the Captain cabin is adjacent the wheelhouse on the Upper deck.
- At 33m, with a beam of 7.43m, the Nauta 108 will feature twin Caterpillar engines, C18 Acert delivering 533 kW each, complemented by selective catalytic Reduction System in compliance with IMO emission standards.
- As in many environmentally protected areas conventional mooring systems cannot be used, the Nauta 108 will be equipped with a Dynamic Positioning System that automatically maintain the yacht’s position.
- The Nauta Air naval architecture excels in both form and function, embodying an intelligently engineered design that harnesses the power of a bulbous bow and flat aft sections to ensure fuel efficiency and impeccable seakeeping.
“I am very happy that within months of announcing our partnership in the US, we already have our first new build contract.
This CdM Nauta 108 is a true explorer with features only found on much larger yachts such as a 4,500 nm range, a Dynamic Positioning
System and capacity to be months at sea. It has been a real pleasure working with Vasco and the entire CdM team and IYC is very much
looking forward to the build process.”
