Non-stop growth of CDM in the US market: first unit of a Deep Blue 115 sold to another american client.

“From the autumn boat shows onward, we have ceaselessly dedicated ourselves to crafting and finalizing an impressive array of contracts. The enthusiasm and dedication with which we have approached this endeavor are palpable as the entire CdM’s team is involved, confirming our unwavering commitment to excellence in the explorer yacht segment”, says with undisguised pride Vasco Buonpensiere, co-founder and CEO of CdM.

“A notable American owner, with a taste for excellence, has entrusted Cantiere delle Marche with the creation of a Deep Blue 115, a vessel replete with cutting-edge technical specifications. “This ambition has been further improved by the collaboration with DÖHLE YACHTS, resulting in a project that stands as an undisputed pinnacle within its category.” Vasco Buonpensiere,
Co-founder and CEO

The American market, always a beacon of growth and opportunity for the yachting industry, has increasingly embraced our offerings,” Vasco Buonpensiere affirms. “This interest and demand witness our focus on expanding and fortifying our presence in this area. Our collaboration with IYC has been nothing short of exemplary. Together, we have created a partnership that not only amplifies our reach but also our effectiveness in delivering unparalleled service and value to our clientele. We met the client who would become the Owner of the Deep Blue 115 in Cannes, during the latest Festival de la Plaisance, and the contract has been successfully completed thanks to the collaboration with Jamie Swaine from IYC's London office

The Deep Blue 115, designed by Horacio Bozzo stands as a remarkable successor to her predecessor, the 43m Acala, whose acclaim at prestigious events like the Cannes and Monaco yacht shows, along with her recognition at the World Superyacht Award, paved the way for her evolution into the successful Deep Blue series. “We conceived the Deep Blue 115 as a truly pocket gentleman’s superyacht with a strong explorer DNA and designed her lines to stand the test of time with elegance,” says Horacio Bozzo.

“This highly customized creation in partnership with Cantiere delle Marche for my client has been an exceptional experience and one which shows the reason why they are the leader in full custom explorer yachts. With a truly one-of-a-kind design, this DEEP BLUE 115 offers the client a world cruising platform that is unrivaled in its functionality and sophistication demonstrating the strength of the IYC/CdM partnership and what we are able to offer our client base.” Jamie Swaine,
Sales Consultant IYC

With a robust steel hull, boasting a gross tonnage of 299 GT, the Deep Blue 115 mirrors Acala in both character and amenities. At 35m, with a beam of 7.50m, Deep Blue 115 is powered by twin Caterpillar C18 delivering 533kW each. The chosen motorization allows for a very modest fuel consumption (reducing the footprint on the environment to a minimum), and a remarkable range.

Axis Group Yacht Design has been entrusted to develop both naval architecture and engineering of the yacht.

She will host 10 guests in 5 cabins, with the Owner apartment on the Main deck forward and 4 guest suites on the Lower deck. A crew of 7 will take care of managing the yacht and attending to the guests’ welfare. The Deep Blue 115 has a traditional layout with two salons, on the Main and Upper deck, a large galley on the Main deck, guest accommodations on the Lower deck, and plenty of outdoor areas on all decks.

Among the yacht’s main features worth a mention a large swimming pool on the Main deck aft with a tank to store the treated water while underway, a tender garage opening on the port side, openable sliding doors (equipped with pneumatic gasketing) on both sides of the main salon, a foldable terrace to starboard next to the dining area. Insulation to lower both the already exceptional noise and vibration levels has been improved to grant an incredible comfort and speech privacy in most interior areas.

The whole AV/IT systems of the yacht are engineered by Videoworks: another yachting excellence from the Marche region.

Moreover, the interior, envisioned by Giorgio M. Cassetta, promises to captivate and enchant with a subtle elegance made of silent details (more information about the interior design will be released as soon as possible).

We are thrilled to share that we are finalizing a series of contracts that will be unveiled in the coming weeks, so… stay tuned for more groundbreaking news from Cantiere delle Marche as we relentlessly redefine the boundaries of luxury explorer yachting!
